Many people put Google AdSense in middle of a post and find that it increases their Google AdSense earnings as CTR ( Click Through Rate) increases. While it may be true, but I always think it is not a good idea to put Google AdSense advertisement inside a blog post. After all, one should not write an article with sole aim of increasing CTR or earn online more and more.

Here are the reasons why I think I should not put Google AdSense inside a blog post:-
1. While reading an interesting article of a blog post, if I suddenly see some irrelevant images or links, it not only distracts but also irritates me. I feel like, I am being sweet talked to make some clicks on these advertisements!

2. How many of you like when a feature film is paused and some freak advertisement appear while the plot of the film just reach the climax ? Well, at least I do not like that advertisement and swear that I will not buy that product! I even change the channel for some time so that I may avoid watching those advertisements! The same thing may happen to our interesting blog post too!

3. Though Google is very smart, but it may not always display relevant advertisements as per the blog post topic. Those irrelevant advertisements may confuse the reader.

So, I would rather recommend people to put Google AdSense advertisements on start of the article and at the end of it. If an article is paginated, than Google AdSense may be put at the end of every pages too.

Have your application for Google AdSense program been rejected by Google the Almighty ? Most probably, you have not read this post about getting simple tips Google AdSense application approved! Well, before I begin my list to do for getting Google AdSense approved, please be informed that, if you have been banned from Google AdSense, please do not read further. I follow Google

Google AdSense

AdSense terms and conditions in letters and in spirit! I expect everyone one to do that with Google and the very fact that you been banned, means you have violated their TOS!

It is actually easy to get Google AdSense approved if you meet few simple conditions. Here is how I suggest one to go about applying for AdSense in simple, easy to follow step by step instruction :-

1. If you do not have Google Account or Gmail account, it is time t have one. Ask your friend who already has Gmail account, to invite you. You may also join ORKUT and then get a Google Account!

2. Once you have a Google Account, you can start your own blog using your own domain. How to book your domain and start a website or a blog is totally different topic. I hope you know them by now or you may want to start a blog in www.blogger.com, another Google Service. But my suggestion would be to use your own domain and book hosting space and then use WordPress blogging script.

3. Once you have your blog ready, start writing in your own language blog posts. Update regularly for next 30 days.

4. Once you have 30 posts, all original contents, you are ready to apply for Google AdSense. Google will never refuse you unless you try to apply with previously banned Google Account ID.

Continuing with my previous post, How to Increase AdSense Revenue, I have implemented and found good result by increasing Google AdSense CTR! Nothing great or fancy actually, just I optimized AdSense advertising placements in my blogs.
Here is what I did to increase CTR ( Click Through Rate):-
1. I have decided to use ad sizes of 468 X 68, image and text ads, 336 X 280 image only ads.
2. I have decided to place them in a prominent positions, easy to see and at least two ads in non-scrolling home page.

How I placed my Google AdSense ads ?
1. Place one 468 X 68 ad, just below the main menu and above the first or latest post of the blog. Normally use image only ad, as it is visible easily and may contain useful information as per the post content and keywords.
2. Place one 336 X 280 image ad at the right side, non scrolling home page. It gives a better look to the blog as well as it will be visible to every visitor. If you are using WordPress like me, put the ad in side bar, at the top of the widgets. It should be placed just after Search, or below About Us! People tend to read About Us page to know what the site is all about!
3. Now, place one more ad ( 468 X 68, image and text ad) just at the end of post when the post is opened in a single page! It may not be easy to put, though there are themes which allow you to put an advertisment at the end of post. But even if your favourite theme does not have that feature ( which is true in most cases), here is how you can put the ad.
a. Go to Appearance, and than click Editor.
b. Look for Single Post (single.php) in Theme Files and click it open in the editor.
c. Look for “< ?php the_content(); ? >“, you may place your 468 X 68 AdSense code just after that. And your ad will appear at the end of your post!

Once a visitor finishes reading your post, he may look for further reading about the topic in your post, and Google AdSense may link exactly that and reader will normally follow the link!

With the Google AdSense optimization explained above, I could increase my CTR. Why don’t you try out as well and comment here if it benefited you too ?

How much money I should earn from Google AdSense in a day ?

Most probably, this is the question asked by every Google AdSense account holder and having a blog! Here is my answer.

If you are earning $1 a day in a blog, you are doing pretty good!

That makes only $30 a month, yes, of course! Do not lose your heart yet. How do you make that $3000 a month ? Have 100 blogs! You will earn $3000 a month. 100 blogs ? almost impossible. True, so the other equation is 10 blogs, $10 a blog per day, will make $3000 a month. 10 blogs is fair, achieveable ? Yes, it is.

Now How to earn $10 per blog per day ? Earning $10 per day in a blog is difficult, but achievable. Why it is difficult ? Because of Google AdSense terms and conditions. You can not beg your visitors to click on the ads, you can not put smart text near Google AdSense images which may mislead a visitor to click on the ads.

Lot of restrictions from Google AdSense. But there still many legal ways to prompt visitors to click your advertisements. Here is few tips:

1. Use Image Ads 468X60, just below the title of the first post of your blog. Many people will click accidentally or just because of the content in that advertisement.

2. Use Image Ad 468X60, just after the end of the post and above comments. Once people are finished with reading your post, they will be ready to do something more, either further reading or comment! And hopefully, the Google AdSense Advertisement will give interesting advertisement related to your post.

3. Try to exploit high paying Google AdWords! It is difficult to find high paying Google Keywords! Thumb rule is, any dating keywords, Money Keywords, Gold Keywords are have high CTR! Use those Keywords in your post smartly! Google will put up those advertisements for sure! I have few experience of earning $7 per click myself!

4. Use 336X300 Image and text Ads, at the right top area! This should give you good Advertisements as well as good CTR!

With these Google AdSense arrangements and if you have 200 Unique Visitors a day, you should have no problem getting 10 Advertisements Click a day.

Google Adsense is the best way to start making money online! But don’t jump and sign up for Google AdSense just like that! Probably, they will not accept your application if you do not have :

1. Your own original content. ( At least 20 posts )
2. If the domain is not yours, I mean if you use .com, .in. .net etc. domain and the domain is not registered in your name using which you are applying for Google AdSense ,
3. If you do not read the terms and conditions properly and do not understand them. Here is the link to terms and condition for accepting your Google AdSense application terms. They have localised terms, so select your country and read line by line. Do not bypass any line else, you might repent later when Google AdSense blocked or cancel your account! Here is the policy too. Read this carefully, very carefully.

If you have not completed the above 3 steps, do not sign up! Once you sign up do not go on asking your friends, groups to click your ads! Have patience, build traffic! It is not fair that your site gets 200 page impressions/views and you get 200 clicks! Somebody is paying Google for the advertisements and you are earning from Google displaying the ads as per your content. So do not go for short cut! Every hard-work pays, in internet it pays faster! Google AdSense people are smart enough to detect click fraud, or any other trick you might think of !

The bottom line is, honesty pays! With Google AdSense it is very true and you can experience it.
