Money From Blogging

It is fifth month of starting this Earn Online blog for me now. I have not earned much from this blog and that was not my aim of this blog. I wanted to experiment earning online, earning with niche blog. And I think, now I am convinced that earning online is possible and earning online by blogging is only one of the many ways by which one can earn online. But I have also realised, with a blog or a website, one can surely increase revenue of his actual business, be it a hair cutting saloon in a downtown area or a IT company.

Like everyone (most probably) I started blogging about my expertise or my the area where I work. I think while writing about ones filed of working or expertise one must include three topics if one wants to earn from his expertise:-

a. An About Page
b. An Experience Page
c. Case studies of projects/works done as post

a. An About Page
This page should answer the following questions comprehensively:-
1. What is the blog all about ?
2. Purpose of the blog ?
3. Who is the blogger ?
4. What is the credential for the blogger to write about the articles here
5. What does the blogger do ?

b. An Experience Page
This page can be a category and posts too. This should list out small incidences, small problems while working on projects about he blog. This kind of incidences or experiences make interesting reading as well as many people share these kind of experiences. They would feel happy.

c. Case studies of projects/works done as post
These are posts about your favorite projects you have completed. There may be some confidential issue to write complete details about the project, client name etc. But one can always write about experience of doing a great project or work. This kind of articles interests people and will create your credibility among your readers. Also, there might be many prospective clients who would actually like you to do such projects!

I have experienced that by writing these articles in their blog, one can get inquiries about their expertise and one may be able convert them to a project which might be large enough to beat total earnings from Google AdSense for a year from 4/5 blogs!

So, bottom line is, it may be easier to blog smartly about your expertise to earn online than trying hard about SEO, Google AdSense, Affiliate Programs, SPLOGS etc.
