Most probably, every blogger is aware the importance of key word stuffing in their posts for ranking in search engines. But how many keywords in a post and how to arrange them ? Would any search engine consider a post a spam post because of too many keyword stuffing ?
Now that is a real danger. Search engines, specially Google, does consider a post if it finds too many keywords. One may not be able to predict how a search engines differentiates between spam posting or a good, keyword rich post, and I am sure no search engine will ever make their algorithm public.
According to me, every 100 words in a post should not contain more than 3 keywords. That means, if you write a 500 words long blog post, you should not stuff more than 15 keywords. 15 keywords in a post should be many actually! One may not be able to stuff that many keywords too without breaking grammatical rules. But this calculation should help you how reasonably you are using your targeted keywords. If you find around 8 to 12 keywords in your 500 world long post, you should be happy.
Now where to put the keywords ? Should the keywords be distributed evenly ? No. In my opinion, keywords should not be evenly distributed in the whole post.
Every article begins with an introduction and ends with a conclusion. It may not be true all the time, but for search engines, I hope they consider that way. So, according to me 80% of the keywords should be put in first paragraph and the last paragraph. That would help search engine identify what the post is all about and they will use your keywords to identify with! That is exactly what is called SEO!
I have been following this for my blog posts and I am having good result in search engine rankings for my desired keywords.
